Brian Bokman

In the past 30+ years Brian has successfully created dozens of creative and unique retail destinations through effective leasing and placemaking around choosing the best tenants for each location.  Some examples include:  Town & Country Village, Palo Alto; The Pruneyard, Campbell and Downtown Centre, San Luis Obispo.

Additionally he has facilitated the roll out of several retail and restaurant concepts on both a regional and national level.  Some of our tenant representation work has involved:  Gap brands, Office Depot, Blockbuster Video, Specialty’s Café & Bakery and Sprint.

By strategically limiting the number of clients we agree to work with we are able to provide a boutique level of service and expertise that is seldom seen.   Our clients know what we are doing for them every day.  In addition to traditional brokerage services we serve as a resource to link to other service providers including General Contractors, Bankers, Financial Advisors, Architects and many other specialties.

Brian has the unique perspective of having occupied every position in a negotiation first-hand:

Tenant:  owned and operated 3 restaurants from 2005-2012.  Worked in-house for a large e-commerce company and completed over 6M square feet of transactions in a 3-year period, all across the country.

Developer:   have successfully developed for these entities:  Walgreen’s, Blockbuster Video and Starbuck’s Coffee.

Landlord:  Have owned and operated a number of buildings of all disciplines including retail, office and industrial.

Broker:  Have completed hundreds of transactions in every major metro in the US and many in Canada  and Mexico.  Have assisted dozens of companies in successfully completing lease workouts with all sorts of Landlords including REITS, large international entities and local mom & pop owners.

The empathy for each position in a negotiation brings a unique perspective and creative attitude towards getting deals done in the most challenging environments.
